“Hurricane Patricia was the most intense tropical cyclone on record worldwide in terms of wind speed and the second-most intense on record worldwide in terms of pressure”
I was born and raised inside the imaginary lines that define the area of land that we call a country, in this case, Venezuela: hot, chaotic, and collapsing. The conceptualization of my artwork lies in between the lines of feminism, the merging of cultures as a way of building a better society, “new fashion”, Tuki, Internet culture, immigrant support, and a lot of other progressive ideals. I believe that by creating images we are creating history, changing the standards, the collective imaginary, and therefore building a new reality.
